Kyokoans, we’ve got a packed announcement for you today. We’ll get straight into it.
From now until November 1, 2024, we will be making major updates to the Kyoko community structure. This will impact the way you interact and experience Kyoko across X (Twitter) and Discord. We’ll outline some of the major changes to expect, below.
Kyoko X (Twitter)
Kyoko currently operates two X (Twitter) accounts, Kyoko and MEMEbot🤖📈 by Kyoko. We originally planned to grow two different accounts given the difference in focus between Kyoko’s DeFi product suite, like our cross-chain asset lending platform and P2P NFT lending platform, and MEMEbot🤖📈. However, starting November 1, we will begin focusing our X (Twitter) accounts more on announcements to ensure our most important updates are amplified and easily noticed.
In anticipation of this, we will merge our two accounts and maintain @KyokoFinance as our main account starting today, October 21. Beginning November 1, we will formally pause posting industry news and solely release key project updates and announcements. Make sure to keep notifications🔔 from Kyoko turned on.
Kyoko Discord
Alongside the changes to X (Twitter), Kyoko’s Discord will also get a new look. We want our Discord to focus more on product support, and with this new direction, you’ll begin to notice the following changes in our server:
- Prioritize announcement and ticketing channels
- Replace dev support channels with ticketing functionality
- Remove community chat channels
- Remove event channels
- Remove regional channels
- Remove custom Discord link
- Core team to step up in moderation
- Community managers to step down
We want our community members and product users to have more opportunity to directly connect with the core developer team. These changes should allow us to provide this more personalized support through ticketing while minimizing the risk of spam and scam links, both of which we’ve seen a dramatic increase in frequency recently. These changes will be gradually rolled out over the next two weeks, with all changes rolled out by November 1.
We appreciate all of your support throughout the years, Kyokoans. We’re excited to hear your feedback about the new community experience in the official Kyoko Discord.

Kyoko’s MEMEbot provides a faster and simpler experience for traders across Solana and EVM chains. The $KYOKO token launched on Ethereum in April 2022 and migrated to Base in September 2024.
