Big moves continue to happen at Kyoko! As part of our tokenomics refresh, we planned to migrate the $KYOKO token to an L2.
We’ve officially migrated the $KYOKO token from Ethereum to Base. Base will give us more options in terms of market making and other marketing opportunities. It will also put our token in front of additional eyes given the shift in meta from tokens on Ethereum to L2s.
This migration means that you will need to migrate your current $KYOKO holdings. We’ve made this as easy as possible via an online migration application on the Kyoko website. Steps are as follow:
- Navigate to https://www.kyoko.finance/migration.
- Connect your wallet. Your $KYOKO balance will automatically populate.
- Follow the steps and confirm the migration in your wallet.
- Once initiated, the migration should take 10 minutes or less to complete.
During the migration process, the original Ethereum tokens will be transferred out of your wallet and replaced by $KYOKO on Base. Additionally, all liquidity has been restored and $KYOKO tokens can now be freely exchanged on Uniswap.
